Game of Thrones Season 8 Trailer Reveals
From the trailer released from the HBO family, we are definitely in for a show, and hopefully, the high expectations of most of us will be met by the upcoming episodes. We will highlight some of the thrilling reveals of the trailer, a kind of heads-up for the goosebumps-filled ride ahead.
An incredible number of people have followed the George R. R. Martin A Song of Ice and Fire novels franchise-scripted and David Benioff and D.B. Weiss TV adapted from the first episode and seasons. The build-up to the Game of Thrones Season 8 has been nothing short of chilling.
The multiple Emmy awards winning series have been beyond captivating right from the start to the most recent season. The wait for the 8th and final season has lasted almost two years, and fans have been impatient to know the end of the show’s major characters.
In Game of Thrones Season 8, we will see the outcome of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen’s relationship, and what their allegiance against the night king will turn out. Then there is the invasion of the night king and his army, and if Queen Cersei will join in the fight against them.
1. Arya In Trouble In Winterfell
The Game of Thrones season 8 trailer begins with an eventful sequence where Arya Stark is void of her killer aura and is running and hiding from something dangerous. In the trailer she can be seen to be injured on the head, perhaps wounded by her hunter(s).
The scenario is contrary to the perception of the young and strong-willed Arya Stark. Perhaps she is being hunted by the faceless men for using her abilities for personal and hateful purposes instead of committing to the service of the faceless god as expected.
2. Daenerys Marches Her Army to Winterfell
The Mother of Dragons finally arrived Winterfell with her army of the Unsullied. Jon Snow and Daenerys look like they will be getting along just fine from the look of things. We have to wait and see the stir up that might develop in Winterfell because of that alliance.
3. Cersei Looking Confident Amid War
In spite of the chaos and terror that is brimming to in Westeros, Cersei can be seen looking unperturbed by the whole situation. Maybe we will get to see what she has hidden under her sleeves. Maybe nemesis will finally catch up with her in her stubbornness.
And by the costume she is sporting, she looks ready for battle guarded by her bodyguard (the Mountain). Will she refrain from the fight against the army of the dead, or join the side of the living? We cannot wait to see the way things turn out in the end soon.
4. Jamie For the Living and Against Cersi?
The seventh season saw the relationship of Jamie and his sister turning sour because of her insistence on not joining the living in the fight against the night-walkers. In the Game of Thrones Season 8, he can be seen pledging his allegiance to the living in the battle.
Is he going to against everything he thought his sister have fought for, and even to the extent of a battle against his sister? It is bound to be epic and breathtaking to see Jamie Lannister fighting shoulder to shoulder with Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow against the night king.
5. Will Jon Snow Ride the Dragon?
The latter part of the seventh season revealed that Jon Snow was actually and has always been a Targaryen all these while. It would be some sight to see him mount on one of those beasts sometime, wouldn’t it? A scene from the trailer clearly shows Jon Snow and the Mother of Dragons walking up to two Dragons. They might finally ride side by side and unleash hell on the battlefield?.
6. The Night King In Winterfell
In the latter part of the Game of Thrones Season 8 trailer is an eery sight of skeletal horse-hooves looking over Winterfell in view in the distance. This clearly announces the arrival of the Night King and probably his army of the dead in Winterfell. How will the battle play out between the living and the dead? Fasten your seatbelts and hold your breath for this one.
